Since childhood, I’ve found joy in elevating the spaces around me. Whether rearranging a room or adding a statement piece that sparked conversation, I’ve always made it a priority to create spaces that feel both beautiful and thoughtfully organized.
Over time, that love for design evolved into a deeper belief: great design isn’t about price tags—it’s about intention. With thoughtful choices and a clear vision, any space can feel elevated and reflect your own version of luxury.
A Touch of Lux was born from my desire to help others create spaces that bring them joy. To me, luxury is a mindset—it’s attainable and can be cultivated in the spaces you live in every day. After years of helping friends and family translate their vision into spaces that felt elevated and personal, I decided to expand my reach. Because we all deserve a touch of lux in our lives—and what better place to begin than the home you spend the most time in!

"ATOL gave my family a room refresh in the winter of 2022 and it was by far the most seamless experience I’ve gone through for my home. Aminata takes pride in her work and pays very close attention to your needs, wants, and even adds in some extras that you wouldn’t have thought of if you were to do it by yourself. She is truly operating in her gift and I couldn’t be more grateful for the work they’ve done for our morning room. "Hiring A Touch of Lux to design my new home was the best decision ever. I wanted my new home to have a look of class, sophistication, comfort, and durability even though I had not the first clue of furniture , artwork or concepts to implement.

Although I thought it would frustrate a designer that I didn’t have a clue of what I wanted , Ms. Kamara was super patient and asked probing questions about styles and colors to get an understanding of my personality and tastes, providing me with 3-5 design concepts at a time to choose from which helped me not to feel overwhelmed.

She also helped me to stay within my budget by using her designer discounts. Her Design Team was also very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. I also noted that if she came to inspect and things were not to perfection she ensured that the design team updated accordingly. In addition the Team always ensured the place was swept and clean from debris after each upgrade.

I am happy to share that my house has a lot of my personality and style weaved throughout. My furniture looks amazing and is very comfortable. I highly recommend!"
